Born in Tacoma WA in 1951
Started serious photography at age 13
Commercial photography schooling at Clover Park Voc-Tech
Further classes in art and photography at TCC and Evergreen State College
Many awards from the Tacoma Photographic Society including best photo of 1970
Worked with all formats from 8”x10” view camera on down to 35mm
Managed camera stores and was partners in a commercial photo studio
Burned out on the commercial aspects of photography about 1981
Took pictures to please myself from then until 2004, with much urging from friends to publish or make my images available. Started using Paint...more
